Born with HIV, it is young Sophia’s last day with her father before she moves to the city with her aunt to secure treatment. On the way to drop her off, her father makes several unsuccessful attempts to find work at local farms with hopes of keeping his daughter close. When their car breaks down at a vacant horse farm, and the father realizes his efforts are futile, they choose to make the most of their last moments together.
